The plate cylinder re-manufacturing program provides Sunday 2000 and 3000 users with the option to restore printing plate cylinders and plate lock-up mechanisms to near new functionality and performance. After an assessment of the condition of the plate cylinder body and plate lock-up bar, the most cost effective method of repair and required component replacement will be determined. Typically, depending on the extent of wear, cylinder repair will range from lock-up bar assembly refitting to additional OD surface and minor body repairs.
