Sometimes extending the life of your equipment provides more value than replacing it with new. Due to the discontinuation of the installed Master drive (MC) drives in their Sunday 2000, Abeka choose to replace them with state-of-the-art Simotion drives to increase parts availability.
In preparation for the project, manroland Goss specialists completed an extensive evaluation of the press. We reviewed the findings with the customer, identifying key areas that would bring the most value to the ongoing operation of the press.
Our team of experts procured materials promptly and tracked delivery to maintain the project schedule. Installation was under two weeks, followed by a few days of testing. Press documentation was updated to include the new drive system, improving serviceability in the future.
The new drive system includes advanced diagnostic capabilities that can be accessed by the manroland Goss support center, reducing response times, and increasing press uptime.
